Prediction Time: Cardinals Win NFC West

It’s that time again. Time to make the playoff predictions for the 2012 NFL season. I’ve been putting it off and putting it off. Any of about 25-27 teams could find their way in. Of course, only 12 can make it. One of those teams I predict will be the Arizona Cardinals. Yeah, I’m doing it. I’m picking the Arizona Cardinals to win the west. Call me a homer, whatever you want. I have to stick by my team. So, here we go. My picks for the 2012 season may surprise some, but some of the usual suspects will appear here too.

NFC SOUTH: Atlanta Falcons
NFC WEST: Arizona Cardinals
NFC Wild-Cards: Detroit Lions, San Francisco 49’ers
AFC EAST: New England Patriots
AFC NORTH: Cincinnati Bengals
AFC SOUTH: Houston Texans
AFC WEST: Denver Broncos
AFC Wild-Cards: Pittsburgh Steelers, Oakland Raiders
NFC Championship game: Philadelphia Eagles vs. Detroit Lions
AFC Championship game: New England Patriots vs. Houston Texans
SUPER BOWL: Detroit Lions vs. New England Patriots
