The Arizona Cardinals have started off their game against the Seattle Seahawks just as they have in most recent games, poorly.  On the Cards first offensive drive, this week’s starting quarterback, John Skelton, threw an interception and the Hawks returned it deep into Cards territory.  They settled for a field goal to take a 3-0 lead.  It is now 10-0 as the teams head to the second quarter.

Once again the difference is the offense’s.  Arizona’s can’t move the ball with their running back-quarterback combination and Seattle can.  Marshawn Lynch has already rushed for 50 yards and a touchdown.  Hawks quarterback Russell Wilson is pretty much finding any open receiver he wants.  They are knocking on the door of another score going into the second.

It appears this one will be over before halftime my friends.  At least I don’t have to worry about sitting on the edge of my seat.  I can sit back and relax, not enjoy the butt-kicking the Hawks are putting on, but at least not have to worry about yelling at the television today.  This team has given up.  I’ll keep watching, but I think the Cards players have relegated themselves to that status too…just watching the game go by.
