If the report is true, Indianapolis Colts offensive coordinator Bruce Arians has been offered the head coaching job of the Arizona Cardinals.  This is per Ian Rapoport of NFL.com.  He met with the team in an interview today.  Both sides were so anxious to speak with one another, they actually met for dinner last night ahead of today’s official interview.

You will have to excuse me if I don’t go into much detail about Arians just yet.  I want the official word before I delve too much into Arians.  I will say this, I’m pretty excited to have him here if he is indeed the guy.  The only question now is, what will happen to Cards defensive coordinator Ray Horton?  It has been rumored Arians would fire Horton and bring in his own guy.

Arians led the Colts much of the season until coach Chuck Pagano returned from his cancer treatment at the end of December.  Many feel he should get votes for coach of the year.  Stay tuned to this fluid situation.
