The Arizona Cardinals defensive line will be relied upon often once again as they enter the 2013 season.  The Cards sport a couple of real studs on the line that are a force to be reckoned with.  They will face some tough offensive lines this season but nothing this core shouldn’t be able to handle.

Defensive ends: Calais Campbell, Frostee Rucker, Ronald Talley, Everrette Thompson (injured reserve)

Defensive tackles: Darnell Dockett, Dan Williams

The nice part about this group of five guys is that they can be flexible to move around the line if necessary, most notably Dockett.  Campbell is a monster on the line.  His ability to rush the quarterback and get his hands up in the air is quite something to see.  The ability to focus on getting to the quarterback but at the same time if h notices a ball about to be thrown he can get his arms up to deflect a pass is certainly something to see.

Not only can Campbell get his arms up when the quarterback throws the ball, he can also stretch his arms out and block kicks.  To have his vertical reach combined with his agility is a gift not many can use on a consistent basis like he can.

Williams spent time nursing and injury during the preseason, however all indications are he is ready to go.  Ronald Talley is also another guy you should hear the name called quite often this season.
