Although nothing official is out on this yet, reports are that the NFL will release its schedule, including the 16 games the Arizona Cardinals will participate in next Tuesday April 22nd.  That would make sense and stand in line with past tradition of a mid to late April release on a Tuesday.  NFL Network is expected to air the release live.  ESPN will also televise a special.

As I’ve said in the past, I fully expect at least a couple of national games.  We all know they will get a Thursday Night Football game but outside that nothing is guaranteed.  The schedule does set up for a few potential primetime matchups.  Maybe one of the games against the Seattle Seahawks or San Francisco 49ers or both.  Kansas City Chiefs, Philadelphia Eagles, Dallas Cowboys, San Diego Chargers  or Denver Broncos are all possibilities.  I could even see the NFL scheduling the Thursday night gimme against the Washington Redskins or New York Giants.

Whatever happens I think we can agree it is one of the more anticipated Cards schedule releases in some time given the excitement currently being built around the franchise.  Expectations are going to be high, saying that even before the draft has taken place.  Stay tuned for more specifics as they become available.   Tell us what how many primetime games you believe the Cards will play in.
