Arizona Cardinals Roster Profile: Dan Buckner

As the Arizona Cardinals finish off the off-season in preparation for the start of training camp on July 25th in Glendale at University of Phoenix Stadium, we are going to take a look at the team roster from A to Z as it currently stands.  Next up is wide receiver Dan Buckner.

2013 season: Buckner, local product out of the University of Arizona, spent the entire pre-season and into the regular season with the Cardinals last year.  He was on the practice squad after failing to make the final 53 in September.  At the end of September he was signed onto the Tampa Bay Buccaneers practice squad.  He was caught in a number game in Arizona.  The Cards simply had a lot of receivers producing.

2014 season:  Buckner is back.  He re-signed with the Cards for another shot at making the regular-season roster.  As far as I’m concerned, as much as I like him, I think his chances may even be worse this season unfortunately.  I do like that he is giving it a shot again though.  I just don’t think he is long for this team.  We’ll see how it plays out this July and August.
