You thought Kevin Kolb’s life on the football field was miserable, well his life off the field football field got much worse this past weekend in Texas as he was arrested for driving a boat while intoxicated.  Not the best move for a guy who’s on the field reputation needed work to begin with.

Kolb, the former Arizona Cardinals quarterback  who is currently a free agent  after spending the 2013 season with the Buffalo Bills, spent over 10 hours in a Willacy, Texas jail before being released on Sunday.  At least he has the being released thing down on and off the field now.  All jokes aside, it is pretty sad wheat his career has come to and even more troubling he wasn’t smart enough to not drink and drive.

He has had to deal with concussion issues, including last season which ended early because of them.  He currently does not have any offers to join another team and after this I highly doubt teams will come running to him for backup help.  It sounds like he has issues to deal with off the field before he can tackle the ones on the field.  I wish him nothing but the best and hope he can get everything back on track.
