As the Arizona Cardinals are in preparation for the season with training camp now in full swing in Glendale at University of Phoenix Stadium, we are going to take a look at the team roster from A to Z as it currently stands.  Next up is cornerback Patrick Peterson.

2013 season:  Peterson made 42 tackles last season.  He also had three interceptions and 13 passes defensed.  The interceptions saw a drop off from the seven he had in 2012.  He also returned punts and saw some action at wide receiver.  It is worth nothing this past weekend it was announced Peterson would not be playing either of those positions this season.

2014 season: Peterson will be a cornerback only.  He’ll play on the opposite side of field from Antonio Cromartie.  The move to cornerback only should allow Peterson to place all of his focus on being the best corner in the NFL.  There should be no reason why Peterson can’t get back to seven or eight interceptions this season.  The move is the right one for him and for the team.  I expect big things from him this season.
