As the Arizona Cardinals are in preparation for the season with training camp now in full swing in Glendale at University of Phoenix Stadium, we are taking a look at the team roster from A to Z as it currently stands. Next up is tackle Jared Veldheer.
2013 season: Veldheer played in only five games last season for the Oakland Raiders due to time on the injured reserve due to a torn triceps. However he started all 16 games for the Raiders each of the previous three seasons since being drafted in 2010.
2014 season: Veldheer is one of the better free agent signings the Cards made in the off-season. He’s the guy the Cards are going to count on at left tackle. He will be what the doctor ordered to protect Carson Palmer and get the running game off and going as well. The biggest concern will be trying to keep him healthy. As long as he does, then we should see great results.
