As the Arizona Cardinals are in preparation for the season with training camp now in full swing in Glendale at University of Phoenix Stadium, we are taking a look at the team roster from A to Z as it currently stands. This is the last preseason profile to complete but punter Dave Zastudil is hardly last in anything he does.
2013 season: Zastudil had 78 punts for a total of 3,566 yards. He had 3,125 net yards. With a knack for pinning opponents deep in their zone, he did it often last season as well, with 35 punts ending up inside the 20, which was tied for first in the NFL. He averaged 45.7 yards per kick.
2014 season: Now going into his 13th season in the NFL, fourth with the Cards, Zastudil is one guy the Cards can consistently count on. Field position is a huge part of the game and that’s where the punter comes in. He is a commodity I hope the Cards hang onto until the day he decides to retire.
