With the Arizona Cardinals taking the week off this week, it will give them extra time to not only prepare for the Denver Broncos, it will also allow some guys to heal injuries.  Included in that group is Cards quarterback Carson Palmer.  Normally you don’t like to see the bye week this early in the season but for the Cards it might have come at the best time.

Carson Palmer – On Monday during his weekly radio show on Arizona Sports 98.7  on the Bickley and Marotta Show, head coach Bruce Arians said he was progressing well and could be ready to go next Sunday in Denver.

Andre Ellington – Any rest is good rest on his ongoing foot issue.  He has not really shown any effects of the injury over the first three weeks though.

Dave Zastudil – Zasty still has not punted in a game yet.  He was only active in week one against the San Diego Chargers and that was so he could be the holder for kicker Chandler Catanzaro.  Hopefully this extra week will help his groin.

Antonio Cromartie – The cornerback got hurt in this week’s game against the San Francisco 49ers.  Luckily after tests, it showed he only had a bruised bones.  No breaks or tears.  He should be good to go next week in Denver.
