After the Philadelphia Eagles went down 26-21 to the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday afternoon, that left the Arizona Cardinals as one of only two undefeated teams remaining in the NFL.  They are the last undefeated team in the NFC.

With the Cards on the bye week as they now prepare for going to face the Denver Broncos in Denver, they remain at 3-0 along with the Cincinnati Bengals, who also were on their bye week in week four of the NFL season.  The Cards sit atop the NFC West with the Seattle Seahawks at 2-1 and after their win yesterday, the Niners are now 2-2 sitting behind them.

The Niners were the only NFC West team in action on Sunday as the St. Louis Rams at 1-2 were also idle.  Everyone in the division is in full swing next weekend.  In addition to the Cards going to Denver, the Seahawks play on Monday night at the Washington Redskins, the Niners host the Kansas City Chiefs, and the Rams head east to play the Philadelphia Eagles.

The Cards are expected to have starting quarterback Carson Palmer back for Denver after missing weeks two and three with a nerve issue in his shoulder.  Drew Stanton went 2-0 in his place.
