It was revealed on FOX NFL Sunday by Jay Glazer this morning that Arizona Cardinals quarterback Carson Palmer got some good news a couple of days ago.  He secretly went to Denver on Friday to see a nerve specialist.  The specialist had good news for him.

Palmer was given treatment that may enable him to play as early as next week or the week after at the latest.  Sunday morning’s report was the first that had come out about the trip to Denver on Friday, that’s how secret it was, even around here.

So, today the Cards will start Drew Stanton today against the Denver Broncos but Palmer’s nerve improved on his Friday trip, so it seems as if he has turned a corner.  I just wonder why that trip wasn’t made on Wednesday when he went to Los Angeles instead? It wouldn’t have made a difference for this week but still.  Whatever happened, it is nothing but good news here.
