The Arizona Cardinals released their Wednesday injury report after practice and as you would expect, there are a lot of names on there.  However, only four Cards players are listed as did not practice, so that’s news in the right direction.

Those that did not practice included defensive end Calais Campbell.  He is out 1-3 weeks with an MCL sprain.  Also not practicing on Wednesday was guard Paul Fanaika, linebacker Glenn Carson, and tight end Troy Niklas.

Those that did participate in practice but were limited included both injured quarterbacks Carson Palmer and Drew Stanton.  Both were limited to light throwing.  Palmer may practice Thursday but will miss Friday’s practice to go to Denver to see his nerve specialist again.  What that means for his game status is unknown.  Stanton has not been cleared for full practice yet because he has not passed his protocol tests for his concussion as of yet.

Also limited on Wednesday was running back Andre Ellington.  That is par for the course though.  I would expect to see that status a lot over the next several weeks at least.  Cornerback Justin Bethel was also limited.
