Arizona Cardinals vs Minnesota Vikings: Inactives
By Scott Allen
The Arizona Cardinals are on the road in week 11 at the Minnesota Vikings
The Arizona Cardinals and Minnesota Vikings each have announced their inactive players for Sunday’s game at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis. For the Cardinals, they will be without one of their top defenders.
Safety Tyrann Mathieu has been ruled inactive for Sunday’s game. Earlier in the week it was thought he would play. On Friday’s injury report he was listed as questionable. Then he was ruled out on Sunday morning.
Mathieu hurt his shoulder three weeks ago against the Carolina Panthers. He was originally reported to be out three to six weeks. It is three weeks on the button today, so it is not a big shock Mathieu is out.
Also inactive for the Cardinals is defensive end Robert Nkemdiche. Unless another injury occurs, he may not see the field the rest of the season.
Other Cardinals inactives:
WR Chris Hubert
CB Tharold Simon
G Cole Toner
DT Olsen Pierre
DT Corey Peters

DT Sharrif Floyd
TE David Morgan
The Cardinals also put linebacker Gabe Martin on injured reserve on Friday. The other limited participant in Friday’s practice, safety Deone Bucannon, is active and will play on Sunday.
Also nursing injuries are receiver Larry Fitzgerald and linebacker Alex Okafor. Both missed practice on Wednesday this week but will be available for action on Sunday.
The other Cardinals who missed at least one practice this week, quarterback Carson Palmer and linebacker Chandler Jones, did not miss due to injury. They were both full participants in practice on Thursday and Friday and will play.
