The Arizona Cardinals, like all other teams, aren’t wasting anytime contacting players that went undrafted

It didn’t take long for the Arizona Cardinals to start adding undrafted players to their roster.  It is typical of teams to start adding players that did not hear their names called over the three-day NFL Draft.

One player that reportedly is on his way to Arizona is Texas A&M quarterback Trevor Knight.  The Cardinals indicated in the offseason one of their goals was to find their future quarterback.  They did not draft one this weekend.

Also reportedly joining the Cardinals will be Wisconsin cornerback Sojourn Shelton.  Cornerback was another area that many felt the Cardinals had as a need, although coach Bruce Arians downplayed that a couple of weeks ago. No corners were drafted by the Cardinals.

The Cardinals are also adding another Texas A&M Aggie.  Wide receiver Ricky Seals-Jones would be the second receiver added by the Cardinals this weekend.  They drafted Chad Williams out of Grambling State on Friday night in the third round of the draft.

One more name to add to the list is Georgia Southern linebacker Ironhead Gallon.  Can you really go wrong with a guy named Ironhead?  He is on the smaller side at 5’10, 210.

Look for more names to surface over the next 24 hours as the Cardinals complete their list of undrafted invites.  You never know, the Cardinals may find a gem in this group.  Don’t forget former Cardinals safety Tony Jefferson was an undrafted free agent.
