Dansby and Cardinals Far Apart

It was reported today that Karlos Dansby and the Arizona Cardinals are far apart in their negotiations for a contract extension. According to Cards General Manager Rod Graves, the two sides are far apart and doesn’t see a likely resolution by tomorrow’s deadline.
So what does this mean for Dansby? Unfortunately it probably spells the beginning of the end of the relationship. It’s too bad. Dansby is a favorite of mine, however I really wish these players understood that there is only so much of the pie to go around.
We’ll see if anything gets done by tomorrow.
