Cards Lay Another Egg, Finish Preseason 0-4

Well, ready for some football?  Some REAL football?

The Arizona Cardinals just look like they are ready for anything but.  In another meaningless game on paper, the Cardinals did their best to get in and out of Denver without too much damage.  Well, not damage done physically, however the Denver Broncos pretty much out played the Cardinals in every phase of the game, defeating the Cards 19-0.

Some lowlights:

  • Arizona four turnovers vs. Denver’s one
  • Arizona top rusher was quarterback Tyler Palko, 3 rushes, 27 yards.
  • Starter Kurt Warner had one of those turnovers with another interception.  He ended up with no touchdown passes in the preseason.

I could go on and on, but why waste the time?  The Cardinals didn’t take the time to show up for the second straight week.  An 0-4 preseason may not amount to much on paper, but in the eyes of fans, it really raises some red flags.  We’ll find out in 10 days if all of this meant nothing or if was just a foreshadow of things to come.
