Around the NFC West

facebooktwitterreddit

Not as much going on this week around the Arizona Cardinals camp, however plenty of news and rumors around other NFC West teams with still a little over a month to go before training camp.

St. Louis Rams – The Rams are said to be interested in former BYU running back Harvey Unga, who was the leading rusher in BYU history.  He will be working out for as many as 14 teams on July 8th, however St. Louis is considered one of the front runners in this years supplemental draft.

San Francisco 49ers – Former 49ers running back Roger Craig thinks the 49ers will annihilate the NFC West. He had a laundry list of reasons why everyone else won’t win the NFC West and the 49ers will when approached by the media this past weekend.

Interesting thoughts, some of them valid, but let’s not write off the Cards and Seahawks just yet Roger!

Seattle Seahawks – Word is the team might be interested in trading for Albert Haynesworth.

Well, I for one, would love to see it!  Talk about a disaster for whoever ends up with him.  This is a guy all out for himself and despite all the talent, I would never take a risk on.  Wouldn’t it be great to see a distraction like this for a division rival?
