After two weeks of the regular season gone by, the Arizona Cardinals Kevin Kolb is the highest ranked quarterback in the NFC West. Not that that is such a surprise, although it is a little bit given Kolb is new to the Cards. Kolb has not played mistake free but he has made few mistakes. The Cards are just one mistake away from being 2-0. The rankings aren’t all the surprising given the opponents of the NFC West teams so far, however here is how it looks after week two.
1. Kevin Kolb, Arizona Cardinals : 35-57, 560 yards, 4 TD’s, 1 INT. QB Rating: 110.3 – Overall NFL Rank: 5
2. Alex Smith, San Francisco 49’ers: 31-44, 305 yards, 2 TD’s, 1 INT. QB Rating: 95.2 – Overall Rank: 11
3. Tarvaris Jackson, Seattle Seahawks: 41-66, 356 yards, 2 TD’s, 1 INT. QB Rating: 80.1 – Overall Rank: 25
4. Sam Bradford, St. Louis Rams: 39-76, 519 yards, 1 TD, 0 INT. QB Rating: 77.7 – Overall Rank: 28
Anyone still think Kolb should be sitting in a Philadelphia Eagles uniform standing on the sidelines? Yeah, me either.
