Larry Fitzgerald Visits the Arizona Diamondbacks

Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald found his way to Chase Field on Monday.  Last season he took batting practice with the Arizona Diamondbacks and also played in the Celebrity Softball Game.  Today, he just mainly “visited”.  He did shag some balls and hang out with the players.

Fitz too some BP last season but decided to skip it this season.  That was likely a good choice.  There is no reason to see Fitz get a ridiculous injury taking some BP at Chase. It’s a great story when the guys on the teams interact with one another, however better safe than sorry.

Still, it is fun to see Larry having fun playing some baseball.  Like I said, he did take some grounders and fly balls today.  That was good enough for me.  Any Fitz sighting is a good one.
