Arizona Cardinals coach Bruce Arians provided some good information this morning in his press conference in regards to personnel and other bits of information. It was a rough weekend for many when it came to performance in the 30-28 loss to the Minnesota Vikings. Now we look ahead at this week and the upcoming game against the Cincinnati Bengals this Sunday night.
Starters in regard to playing time this week:
BA said the starters will play no more than a half. Palmer & Stanton will each play, hasn't decided on the other two QB's. #CardsCamp

Coach Arians is not pleased with the progress of guard Jonathan Cooper. Coop has been spending time nursing injury.

On the kicking competition between Jay Feely and rookie Chandler Catanzaro:
Arians said Feely and Catanzaro could split kicking duties next game. Arians said Feely's new approach on KOs did produce better results.

So there you have it. Also it was mentioned that nose tackle Alameda Ta’amu, currently on the Physically Unable to Perform list, could come off it soon and possibly be ready for the season opener on September 8th against the San Diego Chargers. There is still no official timeline on safety Tyrann Mathieu’s return.
