The Arizona Cardinals are on a short week this week so they took to the practice field on Monday afternoon

The Arizona Cardinals are only 24 hours removed from a 17-14 victory over the Kansas City Chiefs, however with the St. Louis Rams looming ahead in just three days, the Cardinals were on the practice field on Monday.  They had a number of players limited in practice.

The Cardinals were a little banged up in the win but what else is new?  There were also a few players who did not practice in addition to the limited players.

Limited: LB Lorenzo Alexander, LB Matt Shaughnessy, WR Larry Fitzgerald, LB Larry Foote, QB Drew Stanton, DT Ed Stinson, OL Jared Veldheer

No real surprises there honestly.  Shaughnessy just returned from Injured Reserve for a knee and he landed awkwardly on his shoulder on Sunday.  He should be ok.  Fitzgerald was quoted as only being at 60 percent yesterday.  Stanton took a hard hit and Stinson has missed the last couple of games.  None of those players are expected at this point to miss Thursday night’s game.

Those missing practice: S Tyrann Mathieu, G Paul Fanaika, and CB Antonio Cromartie

Fanaika and Mathieu will miss Thursday night’s game but there is a chance that Cromartie will play.  There was no additional news on his ankle injury he suffered on Sunday other than he is day-to-day and there is a good chance he plays according to Cardinals head coach Bruce Arians.  Mathieu might return against the Seattle Seahawks and if not maybe the season finale against the San Francisco 49ers.
