Week 14: Minnesota Vikings

The big question here is will running back Adrian Peterson be part of the squad or will he be playing somewhere else?  This is a Thursday Night Football game in front of the national television audience.

Quarterback Teddy Bridgewater no doubt provides excitement and will be almost two full seasons into his career by the time this one is played.  It won’t be easy to beat him.  I think the Cardinals do though.

Prediction: Arizona 34 Minnesota 20

Week 15: at Philadelphia Eagles

The NFL finally got the Cardinals to a cold weather city close to winter.  This one will be a struggle no matter who the Eagles quarterback is.  This is not an easy place to play for any opponent.

The Cardinals came in here in 2013 and almost pulled off the victory after falling down 21-0 before rallying and falling short 24-21.  That game was also in December.  This is the last road game for the Cardinals.

Prediction: Philadelphia 28 Arizona 19

Week 16: Green Bay Packers

The Packers lost a late road game in Buffalo last season as good as they were.  One can hope for the same result in Arizona this December.  This has the makings of a good game.

The Packers won the only other regular season game they played here in week 17 of the 2009 NFL season only to lose here the following week in the NFC Wild-Card game.

Prediction: Arizona 27 Green Bay 26

Week 17: Seattle Seahawks

The Seahawks came to Arizona in 2014 and embarrassed them 35-6.  Of course the Cardinals were without their top two quarterbacks but still had a close game at halftime.  Everything fell apart in the second half.

I don’t think the Cardinals lose big again but I’m still not convinced the Cardinals have caught up to the Seahawks to consistently beat them.  You never hate to lose your last regular season game, especially headed into the playoffs but it might happen again.  This could cost the Cardinals the NFC West but they should still get in as at least a Wild-Card again.

Prediction: Seattle 24 Arizona 17
