7. Case Keenum, St. Louis Rams

Case Keenum was quite the traveling man in 2014.  No one seemed to want to hold him for a long period of time.  After starting out with the Houston Texans, he was waived at the end of training camp.  He was picked up by the Rams but was eventually let go at the end of October before he ever saw the field with them.  The Texans stepped in an re-signed him.

Keenum played in two games at the end of the season for the Texans.  He thre for 435 yards with two touchdowns and two interceptions.  He also started eight games for the Texans in 2013.  He was traded back to the Rams this offseason.  Having the starting experience of eight games under his belt certainly should give the Rams some feeling of security should something happen to starter Nick Foles.

The one issue I have is why is Keenum going back and forth so much?  There was talk that maybe the Texans would be able to groom him into a full-time starter.  That never happened.  The Texans went with Ryan Fitzpatrick and now are on to Ryan Mallett.
