4. Nick Foles, St. Louis Rams
You have to wonder why the Philadelphia Eagles gave up on this former University of Arizona product so quickly? He started the first eight games for the Eagles in 2014 before being lost for the season to injury. He threw 13 touchdowns and 10 interceptions.
His 2,163 yards put him on pace for 4,326…so what gives? In 2013 he threw 27 passes against just two interceptions in 13 games, 10 of which he started. I think the Eagles gave up way too fast on Foles. The Eagles traded Foles to St. Louis for the oft-injured Sam Bradford. It doesn’t sound like a sound move for a franchise trying to improve and overtake the Dallas Cowboys. However the Eagles loss is the Rams gain. With the core of receivers Foles has at his disposal, the Rams are going to to quickly find out that not only do they have a good defense but a good offense now as well.
Playoff experience.
