What do you see as the biggest weakness with the Seahawks?

The same thing it has been for years: the offensive line. Tom Cable is great at producing run blockers, but pass blocking is another story. Russell Wilson is the NFL’s most-pressured QB. If he wasn’t so good at making pass rushers miss, Seattle’s offense would likely be a major problem.

That isn’t going to change much this year, at least not early in the season. The Seahawks are likely going to be starting a rookie at LG, and a guy at center who was a backup last season. Then again, with Max Unger hurt for most of last season, they won’t exactly be much worse at those two positions.

From the Seahawks draft class, who is the one player you are looking forward to seeing the most and why?

That’s an easy one: wide receiver Tyler Lockett. Seattle’s special teams were pretty bad last season, and Lockett is going to be a special player in the return game.

Lockett also has incredible speed and agility. He’s a guy that can take a five yard reception and turn it into a 20 yard gain. The Seahawks haven’t had that on the roster since Golden Tate left. It’ll be nice to add that element to offense once again.

I’ve picked the Seahawks to finish 13-3 and win the NFC West again.  What is your prediction?

I’ve got them in the 11-12 win range, so 13-3 is definitely a possibility. I just see them getting off to a slow enough start because of the youngsters on the offensive line that it’ll be tough to get to 13 wins.

That’ll definitely be enough to get them back into the playoffs, but 11 wins may not ben enough to hold off Arizona for the division title. It’ll all come down to their head-to-head matches. It should make for a very fun rivalry this season.
