With the first of their two third round picks the Arizona Cardinals looked to beef up the offensive line and took linebacker Kareem Martin out of North Carolina. Martin didn’t get much playing time during his rookie season and finished the season with 8 total tackles, 1 sack, and 1 forced fumble.

During this offseason Martin has been taking snaps with the second team, and is a lock to make the team. With the amount of competition at outside linebacker this season, Martin should display some glimpses of promise. While he probably won’t be a starter expect Kareem Martin to be a valuable contributor in Harold Goodwin’s defense.
