The free agent signed in the offseason has not been as impressive as others so far in camp. In fact he was so unimpressive, the Cardinals went back out and grabbed up Lyle Sendlein, their center they seemingly parted ways with in the offseason.
However Shipley and Larsen were not getting the job done and now most expect Sendlein to win the starting job. However, Shipley is listed first on the depth chart for now, so I will be looking to see what he can do and if he can push Sendlein to a backup role. Larsen was moved back to guard.

The current fourth-string quarterback battles current third-string quarterback Logan Thomas. That competition should come into play on Saturday night. Sims, who has vision problems, is looking to make the team as a undrafted free agent out of Winston-Salem State.
Thomas is still the presumed third quarterback but as badly as he has looked and we’ve been told back in minicamp, I think this is going to be an interesting battle to keep an eye on over the next couple of preseason games.
