4. Chris Johnson
He said he chose to play for the Cardinals because they were going to give him the opportunity to play. You have to wonder if the Cardinals saw something rejuvenated in him with the New York Jets in 2014. You can’t ignore his 4.3 yards-per-carry average in 2014. He’s averaging 4.8 this year, even better.
You also have to wonder if Andre Ellington didn’t get hurt if CJ would be putting up these kind of numbers. I’d like to say yes. You can see over the last two games since Ellington returned it is still a heavy dose of Johnson. I think he is able to limit the touches Ellington gets and preserves Ellington from more chances of getting injured again.
Johnson already has two 100-yard performances this season. The Cardinals had all of one 100-yard game all of 2014.
