The Arizona Cardinals face the St. Louis Rams at the Edward Jones Dome in St. Louis at 11:00 a.m. Sunday

The Arizona Cardinals injury report this week was a long one so this might have been the most anticipated inactive list season to date.  Now we know which players will not suit up for the Cardinals on Sunday against the St. Louis Rams.

The biggest loss of course is running back Chris Johnson but he went on injured reserve on Monday so you will not find him on this list.  You do find running back Andre Ellington though, which means the Cardinals will go with David Johnson and Kerwynn Williams at running back on Sunday.

Arizona Cardinals inactives:

QB Matt Barkley

RB Andre Ellington

CB Jerraud Powers

DT Frostee Rucker

DT Cory Redding

T D.J. Humphries

G Earl Watford

So there you have it.  Of the players that didn’t practice this week, only Cory Redding wasn’t officially ruled out by Friday.  Now it’s official.  No other real surprises this week although you would love to see Humphries on the field at some point this season.  He has not been active for any of the Cardinals 12 games to date.  The good news is receiver Larry Fitzgerald is active on Sunday despite an ankle injury.

Not on this list is linebacker Shaq Riddick.  Not sure how much he plays, if at all, but he will be active for the first time this season.

St. Louis Rams inactives:

T Anthony Donnal

DE Robert Quinn

K Greg Zuerlein

CB Trumaine Johnson

QB Sean Mannion

C Brian Folkerts

DT Ethan Westbrooks

Not a lot of surprise here either.  Zuerlein, a.k.a “The Leg”, has an injured hip and was listed as doubtful on Friday.  The Cardinals will also not have to deal with defensive end Robert Quinn.  Quinn has been a bear on Cardinals quarterbacks in the past.
