11. Carson Palmer 45-yard pass to John Brown vs. Pittsburgh Steelers

In just the second loss of the season for the Cardinals, this one with the Steelers started off on the right foot.  The Cardinals lost 25-13 this day in Pittsburgh but Carson Palmer and John Brown got the offense started early.

Brown caught a 45-yard pass from Palmer on the very first play of the game.  The Cardinals offense was off and running and it seemed like it could be another special day.  Unfortunately after that play the big plays were few and far between.

However this 45-yard reception gave the Cardinals a good start.  It lead to an early 7-0 lead.  It was the most productive offensive drive all afternoon though.  The Cardinals couldn’t seem to generate the offense they were used to.

The fact they started the game with the long pass play though shows to me they have no fear of anyone, home or on the road.  It was impressive for them to come out and show a good team like the Steelers they want to bring their game.  The Steelers defense though overcame the loss of Ben Roethlisberger and played some really good defense after that first Cardinals drive, outscoring them 25-6 the rest of the way.
