D.J. Swearinger

How do the Cardinals do it?  After starting the 2015 season with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, he ended it with the Cardinals.  He was a late-season addition as the Cardinals needed more depth at safety.

He made a couple of big plays in the win over the Eagles in December.  He had a pass defensed and recovered a fumble.  He made three huge hits during the game.  It was nice to see the next-man up philosophy continue to make strides in the Cardinals front office.

Swearinger is another guy I am 50/50 on staying in Arizona though.  I think a lot depends on what the Cardinals do in free agency and in the NFL Draft.  For now Swearinger remains a Cardinal but I’m not highly confident that he will still be here when the 2016 season kicks off.
