Alex Okafor, LB

One of my personal favorite players.  However one of my biggest disappointments at the end of the season.  Imagine my surprise to hear that Okafor was lost for the season just before the Cardinals playoff game against the Green Bay Packers.

Apparently he hurt his toe in a non-football related incident.  No one outside the organization knows exactly what happened.  Not even the media knows what took place.  No one will say.  I do know this, it was serious enough to end Okafor’s season and possibly his time as an Arizona Cardinal.

From the sounds of it Okafor is in the doghouse for whatever took place and some have even suggested it might be too late for Okafor to make amends.  We’ll see but if he is still here come August my guess is he is going to have to work hard to be here in September and beyond.
