Rashad Johnson, S

If you look purely at his numbers on paper, he had a decent 2015 season.  Rashad Johnson though isn’t getting any younger and he struggled a little bit down the stretch for the Cardinals in the playoffs.

After the season head coach Bruce Arians said the Cardinals needed to get quicker and taller at the safety position.  Was he talking about Johnson?  I know he wasn’t talking about Tyrann Mathieu.  You can infer what you want into those comments but I think the Cardinals may be considering dropping Johnson.

What the Cardinals shouldn’t ignore though is the fact in 14 games Johnson had 61 tackles and five interceptions.  He had seven passes defensed.  He played in all 16 games in 2014 and had 92 tackles and four interceptions.  Do the Cardinals want to get younger there now?  Maybe.  Johnson is 30 years old.  He will be 31 at the end of the 2016 season.

Decision: Keep him

Next: Yep, talking about this guy again
