The roof

Although it is closed most of the time during the season I still like the fact it is retractable.  Certainly a lot of Cardinals fans would prefer the roof closed on gameday.  It adds to the atmosphere and certainly is louder when closed.

For day games, there is plenty of light coming through the roof panels, even on cloudy days.  The roof was open for just one game this past season.  The Sunday Night Football game on NBC was an open roof game, presumably at the request of the network and the NFL to showcase the Arizona outdoors and have the blimp see inside the stadium.  Interestingly enough though the playoff game on NBC was not a roof open game.  The roof was closed but it was also a January evening.
