Larry Fitzgerald, Wide receiver

Larry Fitzgerald has been named a Top 100 player every since the series inception. The highest he has ever been ranked was #7 in 2012. This serves as a true testament to Fitzgerald’s dominance as he had a combination of Kevin Kolb, John Skelton, Ryan Lindley and Brian Hoyer throwing to him that season.

Fitzgerald had his best season as a Cardinal in recent memory. Finishing the season with 109 receptions (career high), 1215 receiving yards, 9 touchdown catches while averaging 11.1 yards per catch. Subsequently, Fitzgerald was named to his ninth Pro Bowl at the end of the season.

The biggest highlight of Fitzgerald’s season is without a doubt his performance in overtime against the Green Bay Packers in the Divisional round of the playoffs where he had a catch and run of 75 yards that set up the game winning score (a pitch to Fitzgerald) that sent the Cardinals to NFC Championship.

Fitzgerald was named the 68th best player in last year’s ranking. There is no doubt that he will make a significant jump up the rankings this year.
