Everson Griffen, Minnesota Vikings

Griffen, a local product out of Agua Fria High School in Avondale, had 10.5 sacks last season.  One of those sacks was against the Cardinals on Thursday Night Football in December.

Not only is Griffen a sack master, he keeps his eyes moving all over the field.  He had four interceptions during the 2015 regular season.

When you have a defensive end that is that versatile, he is one to pay attention to.  Griffen, who won’t turn 29 until the end of the 2016 season, is listed at 6-3/278.

In 2014 Griffen had 12 sacks, which was his career high.  The 10.5 sacks were his second-best effort.

Last year’s game was in Glendale.  This season’s game however, will be played at the new U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis.  That, combined with one of the NFC’s top teams coming into town, could be all the incentive Griffen needs to have a spectacular day against the Cardinals offensive line.
