3. Los Angeles Rams

RB Todd Gurley Jr. -Gurley had an outstanding rookie season.  He was the back most expected him to be after rushing for more than 1,000 yards in 2015.  He carried the ball 229 times for 1,106 yards, a 4.8 yards-per-carry average.

Gurley had 10 touchdowns in his 13 games played.  He also caught 21 passes for 188 yards last season.  Many expect these numbers to rise in 2016 as long as he stays healthy.

QB Jared Goff – The rookie quarterback out of the University of California was the number one pick in the 2016 NFL Draft.  Although he has been deemed as the backup behind Case Keenum for the time being, many do not expect it to remain that way.

The big question is can Goff get the starting nod before opening day or does coach Jeff Fisher wait until things go south for Keenum before throwing Goff out there for good?  Certainly there will be calls from fans to see Goff on the field sooner than later.

WR Tavon Austin – Despite just 52 receptions in 2015, some still see Austin as a number one receiver.  Kenny Britt is a close second.  Austin though has not played to the potential most saw out of him coming into the NFL.

Austin heads into his fourth season in the NFL and now is the time for him to take over.  The Rams have a roster full of receivers that could out produce him if he does not pick it up.
