1. D.J. Humphries

Humphries was a surprise pick in the first round of the 2015 NFL Draft out of Florida.  However he came into camp with high expectations.  Those expectations quickly fell by the wayside.

He fell into the doghouse with Arians for his lack of effort.  Arians joked (we think) about him being slow.  There had to be something to it though.  Even though Humphries was on the 53-man roster all season, he was never active.

This season the word is he is ready to go and take over a starting tackle spot.  The Cardinals invested a lot into him so hopefully the pick finally ends up paying dividends in 2016.

2. John Wetzel

Wetzel, out of Boston College, is looking to just make the 2016 Cardinals roster.  For right now he appears to sit right behind Humphries though on the depth chart.  That’s not official but keep in mind again about the trouble Humphries has gotten himself into.

It will be important for Wetzel to be ready any given Sunday.  The Cardinals offensive line has seen some changes this offseason and depth will be a concern.  Wetzel should be able to alleviate some of that concern.
