1. Carson Palmer
We all know what Palmer did last season in his third season with the Cardinals. In a year coming off a torn ACL which ended his previous season, Palmer was as sharp as they come.
Palmer threw for 4,671 yards with 35 touchdowns and just 11 interceptions in the regular season. He was an MVP candidate all season. He did struggle a little in the playoffs but still lead the team to the NFC Championship Game.
There is no reason to believe there will be much drop off from last season in 2016. The schedule is tougher but unless he gets injured, Palmer will be the man in Arizona until he retires.
2. Drew Stanton
Stanton was on the fence whether he would return to the team in 2016. He did help this team limp into the playoffs in 2014. He went 5-3 as a starter in 2014 but saw very limited time in 2015 thanks to Palmer’s health and performance.
One of the reason’s he returned this season was because he was promised he would be given a shot to be the starter once Palmer leaves/retires. Right now, he looks better as a number two quarterback.
