Missed Field Goal

The Cardinals worked hard to put themselves into position to win the game despite all of their struggles on Sunday night.  The Patriots were on their heels as the Cardinals made great grab after great grab.

In addition to Fitz making his great receptions, Jaron Brown had a huge reception to put the Cardinals in position to attempt the game-winning field goal.

There was one problem.  The Cardinals had wasted two timeouts on the previous defensive series, leaving them with none on the final drive.

The Cardinals had to hurry their field goal team on the field, then the Patriots almost let them off the hook by calling a time out of their own. Cardinals kicker Chandler Catanzaro was able to line his kick up without having to hurry.

Next: The ugly

The snap looked a little off but the hold was not much better.  The Cardinals have a new long-snapper, rookie Kameron Canaday.  Catanzaro then missed his kick wide left.  Game over.
