London

Air miles from Phoenix: 5,315

Best airlines for direct flights: British Airways

Places to stay: Premier Inn Twickenham Stadium, London Marriott Hotel Twickenham, Hotel ibis budget

Places to eat: The Scrummery, The Prince Albert, The White Swan Twickenham, Riverside

2016 average price for ticket: About $130 (2017 game vs. Rams is at Twickenham Stadium)

This is the one trip that is likely to be once in a lifetime.  The Cardinals are scheduled to be the road team in their NFC West division game against the Los Angeles Rams.

The game will take place in October but it still could be one of two weekends, either October 22 or October 29.  More will be known in April.

Although it sounds silly to be playing a game against your closest geographical opponent over 5,000 miles away, it will be the Cardinals first trip abroad.  Their turn was bound to come up sooner or later.

Save for this one however.  The ticket price is bound to be expensive.  Plus room and board will cost you more.  This trip though is likely to create the most memories.

The game will take place at London’s Twickenham Stadium, not Wembley.  The Rams played the New York Giants at Twickenham this past season.
