If you decide this is the trip for you in 2017, make a long weekend out of it.  Not only are you dealing with four hours on a plane both ways at the very least, there is a lot to see and do in the nation’s capital.

Smithsonian Museums, The White House, Washington Monument, The Lincoln Memorial, and many other options are available to tourists.  Do some sightseeing on Friday and Saturday or maybe even after the game on Monday and Tuesday.

The ticket price and the hotels won’t come cheap.  The Cardinals haven’t won in Washington since 1998.  They’ve lost six-straight at Fed Ex Field.
