Harlan Miller

Miller, drafted out of Southeastern Louisiana, was part of the Cardinals 2016 draft class.  Initially in training camp it appeared he had made the 53-man roster but was cut at the end of preseason.

Miller did make it back onto the practice squad before the regular season started but he sat there all season until the last two weeks of 2016.  Miller’s first action was against the Seattle Seahawks in week 16.

Miller made a bit of a splash in week 17 against the Los Angeles Rams.  He had his first professional interception and ran the ball back 52-yards.  Was it a sign of things to come?  Maybe.

The end of the season cameo appearance may have been enough to give Miller a chance to compete for the roster in 2017.  Right now he likely would be a backup.

Miller will compete in camp for a spot no doubt but the Cardinals are going to be active this offseason with their secondary.  What role Miller plays in all of that remains to be seen.
