Deshone Kizer QB, Notre Dame

Yes, many would rather see Pat Mahomes from Texas Tech in a Cardinals uniform if the Cardinals do in fact draft a quarterback.  Kizer should be the first-round pick however.

There is a very good Kizer is gone by the time the Cardinals pick at number 13.  If he’s still on the board though, I can’t see how the Cardinals pass on him?

As stated, the Cardinals have come out and said they want to find their future quarterback this offseason.  That isn’t happening in free agency or via trade.

Kizer can sit for a year while he learns under starting quarterback Carson Palmer.  That would be an ideal situation.

With the ability to throw deep with his good arm and his stature he makes a very desirable commodity.  He threw for 2,925-yards for 26 touchdowns against just nine interceptions in an otherwise disappointing season for the Fighting Irish.

He should be the quarterback of choice.  The Cardinals will need some luck of the irish though if they want to land Kizer.
