Wayne Gallman, RB, Clemson

You must be asking yourself, not another Clemson guy?  Well, yes, another Clemson guy.  It is no secret of the ties between the two teams.  Clemson head coach Dabo Swinney and Cardinals head coach Bruce Arians coached together at one time.

The Cardinals of course are under no obligation to take a Clemson player in every draft.  However it would be hard to pass on running back Wayne Gallman.

Gallman, who stands at 6’1, 210, carried the ball 232 times for 1,133-yards and 17 touchdowns in 2016.  He has the size and ability to be the number two back for the Cardinals.

Why running back?  It is a valid question.  However the Cardinals reportedly are interested in bringing another back in behind David Johnson.

With Andre Ellington, also a former Clemson Tiger, and Chris Johnson both likely gone next season, and the uncertainty of Kerwynn WIlliams status, the Cardinals need a durable back with Gallman’s size.
