Ahkello Witherspoon, CB, Colorado

Witherspoon doesn’t have the flashiest statistics out there but would be a great middle of the draft choice.  At 6’3, 195 Witherspoon,  his great size and speed would be an asset to many teams.

The Cardinals are always looking for taller help in the secondary.  It was one of the reasons, aside from being older, that Rashad Johnson was not re-signed after the 2015 season.  They wanted to get taller.

The one issue with Witherspoon is he is a bit lanky.  He is know to be more arms and needs to bulk up.  Nfl.com compares him to Patrick Robinson of the Indianapolis Colts.

Witherspoon had one interception in 2016 to go along with his 23 tackles.  He also had two interceptions the previous season in 2015.

He is worth a middle round shot.  He’s not a guy the Cardinals should reach for but could be one that would surprise and make the 53-man roster.
