Tanoh Kpassagnon was one of the most talked about players from today’s workouts

The Cardinals may not want to use that number 13 overall pick on a defensive end, and that makes sense with needs at several other positions. If they want to wait, and are willing to take a little bit of a chance based on potential, Tanoh Kpassagnon could be an interesting option.

Coming from Villanova, Kpassagnon wasn’t a household name coming into the draft process. He did have big-time production, having recorded 11 sacks and 21 1/2 tackles for a loss last season. It was after the season ended that he started getting noticed, though.

Kpassagnon’s measurements got everybody paying attention. He’s nearly 6’7″, 289 pounds, and has a ridiculous 7-foot wingspan. He looks like he was chiseled out of stone, and today he ran a 4.83 40-time, a 30-inch vertical, and a 10’4″ broad jump. He’s a raw talent, so he may not be ready in 2017, and he’d have to show he can hold up as a defensive end in a 3-4 defense, but his potential is off the charts.
