Arizona Cardinals: Ranking the 13 opponents for 2017
By Scott Allen
3. New York Giants
The Cardinals host the Giants in Glendale for the third time since the building opened in 2006. The Giants won the first two meetings. The last one was in 2011 when the Giants defeated the Cardinals 31-27.
The Giants will still have Eli Manning at quarterback. They have a receiver, some guy named Odell Beckham Jr. You may have heard of him?
The Giants returned to the post season in 2016 but fell short after losing to the Green Bay Packers on wild-card weekend. They finished 11-5 last season thanks in large part to their defense. Their offense doesn’t blow you away, although it should based on their personnel.
The Giants will be a huge draw in Arizona. Of course every game is sold out but this game will likely draw a lot of buzz. What fun would it be to see these two teams hook up in December as both teams are fighting for playoff positioning.
